Mar, Congratulations, I know you are happy to get rid of it and now you will be more comfortable. Dad and I are really pleased to see it gone. Ella doesn’t look too pleased, but she does look cute with it on. Mom & Dad
Hi Marilyn- Its Kari and I just want you to know I am thinking of you every day! I've been traveling and I'm glad to finally catch up on your blog. As challenging as it is you are making such amazing strides. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and and sending lots of love your way across the miles. Much love and hope for 2008- Kari
Marilyn, Just wanted to wish you a HAPPY New Year. It's exciting to hear that you are finally coming home. I look forward to seeing you back in Dolores very soon. Ella wears it well. I can only imagine how stiff your neck must be right now. Hang in there girl, you're doing awesome! Kelly
Hi Marilyn...Michael says your note made him remember when he got rid of his collar (his accident was in the early 60's...tragic car wreck..one friend died, fortunately Michael wasn't the driver, but all others in the car were so seriously injured that Michael had to walk about 7mis for help in the middle of a Wisconsin winter evening). Michael says he remembers after taking the collar off that for awhile it felt like his head might fall off! He was so glad to be free of it and so grateful to be alive and moving again! The docs suggested he 'take it easy' the remainder of his life.....so he became a professional free style skier! Ah...that's my Michael! As always, good thoughts and much love your way.....Barb "What is the shape of my life? What is the sound of rain?" Zen Koan

Wonderful news, and wonderful to see your fabulous sense of humor again!
I think of you and Gareth often, every time sending energy to you both and taking a moment to appreciate my family's good health.
All the best, and then some, for 2008!
